I am a Conservative, Constitutional Republican who is against a large Federal and state government.
I believe in the fair tax. I am opposed to Obamacare. I am against unconstitutional federal healthcare mandates. I want to help the Kansas economy grow.My goal is to protect Kansas in the same way I have helped protect individuals, families and businesses for the past 32 years working in the insurance industry. Kansas’ consumers are my priority, not insurance companies and not the government in Washington and not special interests.
Dave Powell is an Insurance expert with over 32 years of experience in the Insurance business. He has officially announced his Republican candidacy for Kansas Insurance Commissioner for 2010.
A Kansas resident since 1975, Dave is fully aware of the Insurance issues facing all of us and he knows what changes are needed in the Insurance Commissioner's office. He wants to represent you in Topeka and do what's necessary to make the Insurance system work right in Kansas.
Dave is not a professional politician. He is a family man, the father of three children and six grandchildren. He's been a swim coach to hundreds of students over the past 25 years. Dave says he is just an "ordinary person", but those who have worked with him say he has done "extraordinary things" for people in the insurance industry.
